What is procrastination and how to avoid it?

Procrastination is an emotional state where we take things for granted and do not think about the long-term effects. Whatever we do in the present moment is just because of the instant gratification from the triggers of those things which attract most of our dopamine.


Procrastination is a state where you try to explain to yourself that the most valuable task is not important. Wow, if you look into this mind scam, will you actually do it?


Who studies 2 months before the exams if I can complete my syllabus in a week; why do I complete my projects so early if I have 10 days of holiday left; The deadline is in a month from today, let's chill; and many more reasons which you give to yourself daily and convince yourself to go voluntarily into the webs of procrastination.

Procrastination has seen tremendous growth when gadgets became so handy. It wasn't a big problem back then as it is now because gadgets have so many hidden triggers that they psychologically impact our brains.


Now that you know how useless procrastination is, you must know that the only way to avoid it is to be motivated and the highest level of motivation is to get inspired by great people that will drive you through your goal. You have to have an idol. For doing that you have to live in a higher orbit. well, that's a story for another crastinate blog.
